In 2005, CIVITAS began a series of events designed to stimulate civic pride, re-brand our heritage and encourage the involvement of the creative class in envisioning a successful future. Past is Prologue fosters awareness of our industrial legacy and potential for innovative economic development by documenting, interpreting and celebrating industrial labor and architecture.
